About Me

Hi there,

I graduated from St. Cloud State University with Summa Cum Laude in May 2018. I majored in Mass Communications emphasizing in Advertising with a minor in Graphic Design.

My passion for art started when I was in elementary school; I always loved drawing and painting. After taking an AP art course, I knew that art would forever be part of my life. While studying in college, I decided to turn my hobby into a career.

I started my career path when I interned at Minuteman Press as a graphic designer. This position helped me develop skills in Adobe Indesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. I worked with companies like Red Lobster, Mongo’s Grill, and local businesses in the St. Cloud area. This internship prepared me to work with clients and their individual needs.

After my internship ended, I was offered a freelance position through the Mass Communication’s department on campus. My assignment was to help create and tutor professor emeritus, Richard Lawrence. He had never used WordPress before, so it was my job to give him the tools and resources he needed to customize, edit, and add blogs to his website.  To see how I helped Richard, you can check out his website.

Currently I am working as a Web & Graphic Designer at Portkey SEO Solutions in Minneapolis, MN. At Portkey, I have been given the chance to work with a diverse set of clients. I am in charge of designing websites that are desktop and mobile friendly, while also making sure they are optimized for certain keywords. In addition to my web design and graphic design work, I am also in charge of multiple social media campaigns and email campaigns. Make sure to view my works!
