About Me

Hi there,

I’m a dynamic and motivated professional seeking a new design opportunity. I graduated from St. Cloud State University with Summa Cum Laude, and majored in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Advertising and a minor in Graphic Design.

In college, I worked as a graphic design intern where I was tasked with creating brochures, flyers, business cards, and other marketing and promotional materials for local businesses. 

Shortly after graduation, I worked as a Web & Graphic Designer at Portkey SEO Solutions. During my time in this role I gained more experience using the Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress. I was given the chance to work with a diverse set of clients ranging from plastic surgeons to construction companies. After building a company’s website, I was then in charge of creating custom graphics to promote on their ongoing social media subscription.

I am currently working as a Web Designer at Thomson Reuters where I build websites for law firms. My role is to handle design intake as a member of a project team, where I apply creative briefs and use an internal CMS to create websites. Once a website prototype has been completed, I then present the website to the client and make any changes that are requested. I approach every website from a UX perspective and aim to create a modern design with the user in mind. I’m experienced in creating websites that are ADA-compliant and adhere to best practices. I have experience in creating wireframes and coming up with new processes that increase work efficiency. I excel in building relationships, managing projects from concept to completion, collaborating with others, and making critical decisions during challenging situations.
